(Posted on SocialMediaToday)

The marketing and advertising industry has already been heavily influenced by social trends, turning traditional broadcast models on their head. The power of the crowd has been enabled by the social web and marketing is struggling to keep up with the pace of demand for involvement and conversation.

Future Marketing departments will actually become a far more important and intrinsic part of the business. No longer simply pushing a product or service that has been pre determined. Iceland committee

(Posted on SocialMediaToday)

After the huge financial crash Iceland suffered back in 2008, they have bounced back into the headlines with a world first – crowdsourcing their new constitution across social media channels.

Joining JR’s ‘inside out project’. The SouthBank video

kernal on the southbank for Ted prize winner JR's insideoutproject

With the help of some fine comrades… my poster made it’s way to the SouthBank to become part of JR’s project. Check out more photos from the day on the insideoutproject site. We filmed the posting and the subsequent reactions of the public and I created a stop motion movie with a little tilt shift effect.

The essence of JR’s work is to … Continue Reading
